A Wet Dawn
Wednesday, October 12th, 2005 by Agro RachmatullahIt seemed that a heavy rain occured while I slept tonight. My sandals and shoes are awfully wet. Yes, I didn’t put them inside :(.
Anyway a power outage happened before I went to this internet cafe. It was only for a flash, but of course I lost my desktop state (only God knows things that I probably haven’t saved). In fact, the area where I usually go (Bnet) was in a power outage when I arrived there. I tried searching for another cafe but before I reached Gejayan the lights were on again. And so I returned to Bnet.
When I entered the cafe, I witnessed an old lady mopping the floor (as usual). I realized that my dirty sandals (remember the rain) stained her job. I felt terribly awful for her :(.
I’m now sitting on computer number 14. The keyboard can electrocute (correct word for “nyetrum”?) me on the left side (ouch!). The neon lamp in front of me is flipping on and off dizzily. I told the cafe guy to turn it off, but he said that the lamp will be sane soon. Aaah, it just went normal the moment I typed the last sentence. What a coincidence :). (I was actually going to write “Yeah, the lamp will be sane the moment I turn insane”)
Yesterday the Komsi guys that was supposed to attend my Linux class didn’t come. Well, actually one lad came. He said that he had just read the schedule and told me that he’d come back with his friends. He vanished and never went back. I dunno who to blame, the kids or the penyelenggara (I can’t come up with a nice english word! Kamus.net gave “executor” but I didn’t like it. Coordinator, probably? Or event organizer?).
I think this will suffice for now. I’m out for a match on KGS…
